Jürgen Radel

 

Juergen Radel, M.A. studied at the technical university of Aachen (RWTH) and participated in an international Ph.D. programme between the University of Bremen, the SDA Bocconi (Milan, Italy) and the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA/CEPIES, La Paz, Bolivia). During this time he was visiting Ph.D. student at the Harvard Business School in 2008/2009. He recieved the IPMA Level-D certification in 2001 and after that a couple of certifications in organizational development, quality management and leadership.

Currently he is working as a young professional in the human resources department of a German based, international company. Since Feb 2008 he is responsible for the Young Crew of the German Association of Project Management (GPM e.V.). In this function as well as during his work in Germany and the U.S. he is holding lectures and workshops worldwide. In 2006 he was awarded one „Prize Winner of the IPMA Young Project Manager Award“ in Shanghai.

Board Member of the German YC.

Aarti is actively involved in the Young Crew activities since Feb 2008 and she is professionally working for the GPM German Project Management Association since 2007 as well. She is Assistant to the director of the GPM Berlin Office striving to bring politics and project management closer together.

Having studied political science and international relations at the University of Bremen, Berlin and Toronto she contributes distinct perspective to project management and the Young Crew. Additionally, Aarti has lived in different countries and cultures and has close personal ties to India. Her intercultural experiences and her passion for travelling combined with her broad social political understanding shapes her interest for sustainable living and intercultural exchange in relation to project management.

 

Expertise

Aarti has acquired a basic certification in systemic counseling as well different certificates on gender diversity and project management. One of her areas of expertise is non-profit organizations. In the fall Aarti will pass her Level D certification in Project Management.

Glória Costa  

Glória joined the Systemic Excellence Group as an intern in January 2009 and the Young Crew lateron.
She is responsible for the design of the Systemic Excellence Group and the Journal on Political Excellence. She also participates as a researcher and designer on the SocialDesignSite.gloriacosta.jpg

She pursued her studies in Communication Design at the Fine Arts Department of Lisbon University. Throughout her academic career she focused her interest in video, photography and editorial design and she gained practical experience by directing photographic projects, short films and editing a magazine. Previous to joining the Systemic Excellence Group, she worked as a graphic designer in Lisbon.

Currently, she is specially interested in the fields of Systemic Thinking and Design Thinking and she aims to explore how these fields can innovate the communication of organisations.

 

 

 

Violetta Pleshakova

Violetta grew up in Moscow and lives in Germany since 2007. She studied Public Administration, Management and Political Science at Moscow State M.V. Lomonosov University and gained practical experience both in public and business sectors. She continued her education in Germany, at Erfurt School of Public Policy,violetta_photo.jpgacquiring interest for the issues of social change and social impact of the Internet. Her master thesis explored Web 2.0 as a driver of social change. Alongside with studies, she was participating in student life, event planning and such creative activities as photography, blogging and essay writing.

Violetta is currently an intern at SEgroup in Berlin and a member of the SocialDesignSite.com team.

In the upcoming years she plans to obtain a PhD within the framework of Cross-Cultural Complex Project Management programme. Her research focuses on the opportunities of Web 2.0 for activism and collaboration in the civil society. Constantly developing her knowledge and skills in social media, text writing, presentation, research and event management, Violetta aims to work as a project manager and deal with complex cultural contexts, social projects and co-creation endeavors.
